1. ACCEPTANCE OF ORDERS: All orders submitted through our website, over the phone, in person etc., are confirmed by a confirmationnumber or email after submission, no order should be deemed to be received without this confirmation. All orders are fulfilled subject to theseterms and conditions. It might not be possible for us to accept certain orders or delivery to certain countries.
2. CURRENCY: Prices quoted are in Euro, all payments are to be made in Euro. (Your credit card providers will charge for the order in your localbilling currency).
3. PAYMENTS: You may pay for your order online or over the telephone +353-056 7755240 by Visa, MasterCard or Laser etc. All payments madewill be debited at the time/day of order or within 72 hours from time of transaction. Alternatively you may pay by cheque/postal order: madepayable to Advent PRINT LTD, and forwarded to Green Street, Callan, Co. Kilkenny, Ireland. No order will be processed until full paymenthas cleared. (Full payment is non refundable.) Customers can call to our store in person to place their memorial order(Prior appointmentrequired),which will be subject to our in store prices. Free proof or proofs are only released to the customer on receipt of full payment .In certaincircumstances we will accept a deposit with the remaining balance due debited before their proof is sent to them for approval, by agreeing andaccepting our terms & conditions the customer automatically authorises Advent Print to carry out this transaction.(Deposits are non refundable).
All customers paying their deposit by cash or cheque on the day/time of ordering will be required to pay the remaining outstanding balance priorto or on the of collection of being notified that their completed product is ready for same will be required to settle up any monies due, all ordersnot collected with an outstanding balance due will be passed on to a debt collection agency. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure thatthey order the correct quantity of cards as over ordering will not result in a refund once the order has been processed and paid for in full, howeveran alternative product may be offered as compensation which is up to the discretion of the company directors. Advent Print reserves the rightto charge a credit/debit card with any outstanding balance(s) that are due after three days of them notifying the customer that their is ready forcollection.
4. DELIVERY: Delivery periods quoted are from receipt of approved artwork or receipt of initial order . Any item quoted or represented fordelivery or dispatch, or the carrying out of any work is given only as an estimate but in the belief that it can be kept. Nevertheless neitheradventdesign.ie not its agents or servants, shall be under any liability for any delay or non delivery howsoever the same shall be caused. (Seedelivery page).
During certain winter months our delivery service may be suspended due to weather conditions that are outside of our control. Free delivery willbe offered from time to time and cannot be used inconjunction with any other promotional offer whatsoever.
5. RETENTION OF TITLE : Title to the goods sold shall not pass to the customer until paid in full but once delivered shall not be returned except with previous written consent of Advent Print. All artworks, origination, logos, discs, etc., created by adventdesign.ie for the customer remain the property of Advent Print.The URL adventdesign.ie will appear on all completed printed products when any or part of our material such as wordings,verses,gallery images etc., are used. All goods not collected from Advent print premises with an outstanding balance due to Advent print by the customer within 60 days from being notified either by phone or email that their order is ready for collection will be disposed of accordingly.
Under normal circumstances, goods must be paid for prior to dispatch. If for any reason, goods are agreed to be shipped prior to clearance of payments,title in the goods shipped belongs to ADVENT PRINT LTD until payment in full by the customer.
6.RISK in the goods shall pass to the customer upon delivery to the customer or his/her representative or nominee at Advent Print premises or nominated address at or to An Post or any carrier, and any such carrier shall be deemed to be the agent of the customer. We will not be held responsible for items such as photos or items etc., sent by the customer to adventdesign.ie by letter post or any other method or by third party which are lost before they get to our premises. Items of high sentimental value etc.,should be sent via registered post or delivered in person to our premises.
7. EMERGENCIES : In the case where urgency or other factors occur, which require adventdesign.ie to use its initiative in approving artwork orotherwise acting on behalf of the customer it will act according to its knowledge of the wishes of the customer but shall have no liability to thecustomer what so ever adventdesign.ie acted.
8. VAT is charged only on sales to residents of the EU making personal purchases. If a valid EU VAT number is provided at thetime of ordering,goods will be shipped to non-Irish residents of the EU net of VAT. All purchases made by customers outside the EU are chargedwith VAT. 9. SAMPLES : Memorial printed samples are submitted free of charge and dispatched within the Republic Of Ireland only.
10. COLOURS/PHOTO : Orders are subject to normal colour deviations in digital printing, Materials and printed colours/photos will be matchedas closely as reasonably possible(Important note: We can only reproduce high quality photo(s) where the photo(s) supplied by the customer are ofequal high quality(min resolution of 300dpi).When a photo(s)needs to be scanned in order to be printed on a product selected by the customer,itwill be matched as close as possible to the original. We will not be held responsible for poor quality photo(s) which have been uploaded orsupplied by the customer to Advent Print resulting in poor quality prints. Advent Print is not obliged to remove red eye or any background objectsor backgrounds if a photo of the deceased supplied by the customer contains same unless requested to do otherwise or in certain circumstancesAdventprint may feel that the quality of the finished product will be reduced by same, a minimum charge will apply accordingly. The customershould determine whether the quality of their photos are suitable for reproduction before submitting same.While we endeavour to return allhard copy photographs(s)or artwork supplied by the customer on completion of their printed memorial order, we cannot guarantee same dueto the high volume of work that is processed by our art room department at any given time. The customer should ensure that they have suitablecopies reproduced from their original photos. A minimum charge of €25 will apply per product when a photographic image which belongs to thecustomer is supplied as a background. Additional photographs of the deceased will incur an extra charge per printed product.
11. PRICE VARIATIONS: The Contract price is subject to unforeseen substation. All increase in costs of Materials, currency fluctuations,labourcosts, rise in transport costs or any other major influence on the cost to Advent Print of goods contracted for and may be increased by AdventPrint without any prior notice to the customer.
12. JURISDICTION: This contract has been made with adventdesign.ie(Head office, Kilkenny,Ireland) and shall be deemed to have been so made.KILKENNY COURTS SHALL HAVE JURISDICTION in relation to any disputes arising.
13. VIS MAJOR: In the event of war, riot, civil disturbances or other major forces outside the parties rendering it impossible or impractical foradventdesign.ie to complete the contract adventdesign.ie may at its option repudiate this agreement by writing to the customer by email.
14a. ARTWORK: The cost of artwork, blocks and all standard origination is included in our online price, however any extra design required by thecustomer,create your own products,Dual photo products or artwork/layouts required indifferent to our standard format will be charged accordingly.For all orders of keyrings or enlarged photos of 4 or less an artwork charge of €20 will be applied unless the initial order is accompanied by Inmemoriam cards and or bookmarks and or wallet cards and or acknowledgement cards. A once off scanning charge of €10 will apply toall new keyring and 5x7 photographs. (Price is per photo).
14b. PROOFING: When artwork has been approved, the responsibility rests with the customer to ensure that the design/text/spellings and copy arecorrect.It is also the responsibility of the customer to ensure that all their spelling(s)and information completed & supplied by them to adventdesign.ieonline,by email or by letter post are correct before submitting for printing,
14c. If copyrights unknown to Advent Print are infringed to meet customers instructions this is the customers responsibility and shall indemnifyadventdesign.ie in respect of all actions, proceedings, claims or costs, loss or damage or expense suffered by adventdesign.ie in respect thereof. Allartworks etc., will be archived for a period of 12 months from date of origination. A free colour proof or proofs refers to proofs sent via email(PDF)and are free of charge. All colour paper proofs which are requested by the customer will be charged at €10 per proof
14dA. All artwork is carried out from the instructions provided by the customer to Advent Print Centre on the day of ordering or from receipt ofcompleted order form and all proofs are created and designed from these instructions. If any redesign, major alterations or extra additions (photos)etc. are required by the customer, other than spelling mistakes caused in the typesetting process an extra charge will apply accordingly as additionalcomputer time has to be allocated.
(Changes can be made prior to the time of the customer receiving their proof only if the artwork has not been started by our artwork department)A spelling mistake does not constitute extra words or any additions being added by the client which they had previously forgot to include with theiroriginal order.(this only applies prior to the time the client receives their proof(s)from our artwork department).CHANGING YOUR ORIGINALDESIGN AFTER RECEIVING YOUR PROOF,PRICES FROM €40.00 (PRICE IS PER INDIVIDUAL PRODUCT)
15. INTERPRETATION: In the case of any conflict between any of these general conditions and any especially agreed conditions the latter shallprevail.
16. SPECIAL OFFERS or Other: adventdesign.ie reserves the right to change or withdraw any price, promotional or special offer at anytime withoutany prior notice to the customer. Special offers have no cash value in any way whatsoever. Even though our website may display a special offer samewill not be offered during certain months throughout the calendar year.
17. CANCELLATIONS: Once orders are submitted and paid for by the client,a strict non refund policy applies if the client decides to cancel theirorder.(Applies to when a deposit is received from the customer)If for any reason the order is cancelled by the client after the artwork has beendesigned and after a proof has been sent, a cancellation fee will be applied to cover any loss suffered by Advent Print as a result of their actions.
18. CONFIDENTIALITY: We strictly undertake to exercise all reasonable precautions to keep information supplied to us by customers strictlyconfidential.
19. OPENING TIMES: Customers who call to our store without a prior appointment may be subject to a long delay until a customer adviser isavailable to deal with their query.
20. ALL INFORMATION and layouts including religious & photographic images used for and by adventdesign.ie are copyright and prohibits anypersons, company or otherwise from copying same in any form whatsoever. Kilkenny area courts(Irl)shall have jurisdiction.
21. CUSTOMER SUPPORT TIMES: While we endeavour to answer all telephone calls made by the customer to adventdesign.ie during office hourssame cannot be guaranteed. All telephone calls where the customers leaves their telephone number and a contact name will be returned at our earliestconvenience.
22. ALL CHRISTIAN/SURNAMES and deceased photos of person(s)used to display our sample memoriam,wallet,acknowledgement cards,bookmarks or any other related items are fictitious and do not refer to any person or persons in particular.
CREDIT CARD SAFETY - For your added safety and security Advent Print requires that you enter your verification code (CVC) which is sent to usseparately when paying via credit card.
The CVC code is the last three-digit number which appears on the signature panel on the back of all Visa and Mastercard cards. See below for sample.Credit card orders that do not include CVC codes will not be processed.
